FIRST POST!

Time to start blogging! First of all, my apologies to all who were hoping to complete their post sooner. I intended on updating the blog by 5 P.M. today, but as the day progressed, I developed a really bad eye infection that required immediate doctor care. I was just now able to get to the blog. I have now updated the blog and to make it easier, I have closed all the other blogs so you won't accidently post to them. I can't wait to see what you all have to say! Remember to please respond thoughtfully to all topics presented. Pay close attention to grammar, punctuation and sentence structure. Your responses must be a minimum of 8 sentences. Happy blogging!

We learned that during the Holocaust it was estimated that 6 million Jews and 5 million others were killed under Hitler's orders.

Tell what you think about what you have learned about Hitler and the Holocaust so far.

The Holocaust was really a kind of frightening time if you had a first hand experience. Atlof Hitler was a cruel person and really had no good reason to invade germany. It would've been freaky inside the walls and fances of the concentration camps. I heard that they stipped the victims down before they threw them into a gas chamber to kill them. I personally don't know if there is proof that Hitler was actually once a jew himself, but I intend to find out somehow. His acts left 6million people to die of many kinds of reasons. Photos of victims are grusome and detailed and shows the suffering that the Jews encountered. Some survived desperate attempts to stay alive.

i think that i have learned that Hitler wanted to save the white people and kill the black, jews, and mexicans he thought they were not perfect and he also killed people with glasses because they were not perfect

Hitler wanted to create a "perfect race". Any Jews, blacks, mexicans,anyone with glasses,and gypsies were killed. An estemated eleven million people were killed. I think everyone listened to him because it was a new idea, and was presened persuasivly. I also learned that I would survive a while, until they dug a bit in my roots.

When I had first heard about Hitler and the Holocaust I was too, scared... It shocked me that over 6 million Jews and 5 million others were killed for just being who they were. Seeing the video with all of the people being piled on top of each (dead), showed that Hitler was a crazy person and a terrible man! Very few survivors from the Holocaust are still alive today. This was one of the most horrific events in history.

Sorry, Mrs. Gamez, I did not read the last sentence of the First Post paragraph so I am adding on to my previous post... Half of Hitler's plan was to have the perfect race. His perfect race was blond hair, blue eyes, no glasses, and a certain height. In his book Mein Kampf, Hitler blamed the Jews for many of Germany's troubles, so I wonder if this is what started it all.

What I have learned so far about Hitler and the Holocaust was that Hitler was a frighting man to the jews and the Holocaust was a horrible time in history. Hitler wanted a "perfect race". Which means, if you don't meet Hitler's standards, you would get killed. The Holocaust was the time Hitler went around and killed jews. Most were killed when they were found. Others were sent to camps to get killed. They got showered, experimented on, and put on a fence and got shot.

I have learned many things so far even though we just started this topic. I learned Hitler wanted a perfect race with these charicteristics; blond hair and blue eyes. he did not want people in this race tht ahd glasses, any learning disabilitys, or anyone that as Jewish. He killed about six million jewish people and about five million other people who weren't jewish. Hitler was a very evil and sick person. He would do experements on some and some would be put in concentration camps. Hitler had no reason to kill the Jewish. it was rare that anybody servived. Some knew Hitler's choice was wrong therefore tryed to hide the Jewish, some were succesful, but if you were cought there was a great chance of you getting murdered too. I also know that after Hitler's last speech he first killed his dog, then his girlfriend, then himself.

The Holocaust started on the 9th to 10th in November 1938. Oadolf Hitler was a very brutal man who wanted the perfict race. If you didn't have blue eyes, blond hair, or was a Nazie you were dead. Hitler would tell everyone that he was going to give them a shower but he would kill them with gas. Hitler would also experiment on the people to see how long a person could stay alive in a preserized chamber and eventually they would blow up. there were so many Jews that hid and were found and killed by the Nazies. Some of the Jews survived and there are a few of them that are alive today. In the year 2009 this 6th grade class was learning about the Holocaust and they had learned that 6 million Jews had died and they wanted to know how much that was so they asked people to send them some paper clips and instead of 6 million paper clips they got 20 million and they didn't know what to do with all of them. Hitler knew that everhyone was coming for him so he took his dog, girlfriend, and himself ito a cave. while they were in the cave Hitler shot his dog first then he shot his girlfriend and finaly he shot himself. Recently Hitler's skull was found laying by the gun that he shot himself with.

So far I have learned a lot about the holicoust and Hitler! I have learned that Hitler was in charge of everything that was going on. He did horribly brutal experiments on innocent Jews. Some expirements were somthing like killing a pregnate lady and seeing how long the unborn child survived! Hitler also wanted to create somthing called the perfect race, this was just a bunch of blonde haired blue eyed people with no other mixed race inside of them. From what I have heard Hitler shot himself, his dog, and his wife, but I am not sure if this has to do with what he did to those innocent Jews!

Adolf Hitler wasn't very right in what he did. He wanted a perfect race which was Blond hair and blue eyes. He would dig deep into your back ground, to find if there were any thing to make you other then pure white like; having an African American ancestor or so. He thought that if you needed anything like glasses or a hearing aid, you weren't perfect. If you had somebody with a disability in your family, you'd be dead. What he did to the Jewish was was terrible. He burned them, dragged them to their death. He sent all other non-perfect races to concentration camps. They experimented on them. Experiments such as hi-altitude experiments, Low pressure on the body, and tested chemicals and drugs on them. They literally worked them to death, without food and water. Looking a pictures, you could actually see their rib cages. Once they died, Hitler put them in these large holes. That's what I learned just in two days about the Holocaust.

So far when talking about the Holocaust I have learned that Hitler was looking for a perfect race. He wanted people who were the perfect height, had blond hair and blue eyes, and that had no learning disabilities. Hitler did not like Jews and so he did different tests on them. I was shocked to learn that over 6 million Jews died because of what Hitler did. Many Jews were put into concentration camps where they would die of starvation and thirst. I am reading a book called "Smoke and Ashes" that is all about the Holocaust, it talks about how Hitler killed people and all of the different camps there were. I was a little scared to see the pictures of dead men stacked ontop of each other. It all has made me think of how lucky we all are that we aren't going through all of this.

So far in the process of learning about the holocaust has been an unpleasant journey. I learned that approximately six million jaws died. The person all behind this was the leader Adolph Hitler. This all took place during the World War 2. Adolph wanted to create this perfect army.Mr.Hitle called then Nazi. They were blonde, blue eyes and can’t have any thing wrong with them. They set up a concentration camp that starved and abused ALL jaws from little kids to senior citizens.

What I thought about the time of the holocaust and Hitler I just thought it was a time of war and cruelty. However I have learned that it is way more than war and cruelty. This was a time of horror, cruelty, and fear. And an example of this was killing people who were any kind of mix, but not pure white. 6 million people died most of them were Jews. The holocaust was the time where Hitler ruled with an iron fist. Many homes and people were put in camps to be tortured and always be beaten badly until they eventually die. This time must’ve been a crucial time for people who were not pure white.

When we first started to learn about the Holocaust i thought Hitler was very cruel to other races.What I dont understand is Why he wanted a perfect race.I think people should be able to be diffrent.Somepeople are shorter than others so what.I think hitler was a big part of history around the world.Some people try to carry on what he did but i say a stop to that!I think killing so many people is very unneccisary.When we watched the paper clip project video i thought that was very pledging and generous.I think that hitler should have been stoped immediatly once anyone heard about his plan. THE PERFECT RACE.People should be left alone if diffrent maybe you can reach out and be their friend but killing them is very unneccisary work.

what i have learned about the holocaust is that hitler killed jews. when hitler was a boy he would clean jews driveways and hitler got kinda of mad of the jews so when he became a adult he wanted to be only one race. hitler could of done that because he had people following him like the NAZIS! after the holocaust hitler had killed 11 million people 6 million jews and 5 million others.

What I thought of the time of the Holocaust is that Hitler killed a lot of Jews. Hitler killed everybody that was mixed, but not pure white. About six million Jews died. It was a time of horror and cruelty. It took place in War World2.Hitler was a huge history around the world. While we were watching the paper clip video I was thinking that was really nice to wear a paper clip on their collar to represent that Hitler was a bad person for what he did. I think that someone should have stood up to him and told him that everyone should be happy where they are and should not be killed and be slaves for him because their race.

I think it's sad that Hitler killed 6 million Jews, just to make the perfect raise. All those Jews did nothing to him, and he just killed them out of selfishness. Hitler was a very cruel and black hearted person! The Jews didn't know what he was going to them, when he put them on the trains and sent them to gas chambers in the concentration camps all over Europe. He sent his army to do his dirty work. If you had glasses he would kill you to him if you couldn’t see. Every Jew that was forced to live in the ghetto had to wear the yellow Star of David, so it would be easy to spot them, if they tried to escape. His idea of the perfect raise was a person with blond hair and blue eyes. To him all other races where unclean especially the Jews.

He killed anybody with any defects or disorientation .In that time over 6,000,000 people were killed even Hitler died .Hitler was a brutal man and killed anybody in his way. The thing i know about Hitler is that he killed anyone thats not his own race.
Some jewish where captured and most of them killed. He only killed the jewish because he thought they where richer than him. After that he made a guild called the holocaust. Then, the Americans came, The holocaust showed a video of the jewish kids playing soccer in a video. But, they where actually Nazi's playing soccer and trying to confuse the Americans, but they knew that the jewish were introbble. They found the jew's atlast and rescued them.

Number the Stars

Other than the Diary of Anne Frank, I have also read a book called Number the Stars, a Battle of the Books book. Tis story is about two families who are close together. One of the families is Jewish and the parents go in hiding, forced to leave their 10 year old daughter with the other family. Two soldiers came in and the daughter of the other family barely pulls of her friend's David's Star neckalace before the soldiers walk in. The next day the family goes hiding too.

I just realized that Number the Stars is already a book recomendation. I just typed that for nothing! Anyway,the Jews were not the only ones that were targeted in the Holocaust, also known as the Shoah. Romani and Soviet civilians were also targeted. According to my research from Wikipedia, Hitler was an Austrian born German.

What I have learned about Hitler and the Holocaust is that Hitler wanted the, what he called the perfect race. This race was blue eyed, blond haired and pure German or white. He also wanted them to have nothing that made it difficult for them to learn. This included glasses or anything else like that. Another thing that I learned is that he would capture Jews and Gypsies, and send them to concentration camps. Hitler would have them live without eating for months. Eventually he would execute them, and the more who died the more he was pleased. Out of the 11 million who died nearly half of them were Jews. I also learned that scientist would experiment on some people to see how much pressure it took to make them explode. They would also kill pregnant women to see how long the baby lived. After seeing where Anne Frank lived, the picture told me that life was really hard on her. It must have been difficult living in an annex. When I also saw the gruesome pictures of dead people stacked up, kids where you could see their bones, and grown men skinny to the bone it made me think how terrifying and horrible it was. I’m truly sad of what had happened not so long ago, but I’m sure glad the Holocaust hasn’t carried on to our century.

It's funny now that I think of it. Hitler wanted only certain people alive. You must have blonde hair,blue eyes,no glasses,no braces,no other race than white,and you must be the perfect hight. Out of my whole class(around 20 people?) I would be the only one to survive!!!Sure, I have a tiny bit of basque and scottish and all, but no one in my family is actually something other than white.Here comes the funny part.Once you actually think about it, Hitler wouldn't meet his own standards.His eyes are not blue and his hair not blonde,plus, he was Jewish!If anything,Adolf Hitler would be first to die out of about 6 million people! DISGUISTING MAN!!!!!

So therefore he made an army to try and make his perfect life. He purposely killed 6000 Jewish people and 5000 others. He started killing people that had disabilities like they couldn’t read or write. He also went against people who wore glasses. The only people he did not kill was people with blonde hair, blue eyes. The only bad thing is that just because they had blonde hair and blue eyes doesn’t mean they wouldn’t kill them. Even if the prisoner was blonde if he\she had any disabilities Adolf would say off with his head!! Eventually Hitler made concentration camps were they would run tests on prisoners. These type of tests were not only torture but it would tell how long Hitler’s pilots could fly at a certain altitude. Also they ran tests like how long his men can stand frigid weather, so they stick prisoners in freezers. The nasty part is that the prisoners would have to use the bathroom in a hole. These poor people were only 60 or 70 pounds. Can you imagine full grown men being that light. For many years Hitler and his men somehow kept this a secret. When prisoners died they would get thrown in a huge pile of dead bodies. Hitler kept track of how many people were at each camp, so when somebody tried running away Hitler knew every time. One day the U.S. found out and sent soldiers to kill Hitler and his men. Then when Hitler found out he was in danger he shot his wife, dog, and himself. He knew he couldn’t stand a chance against the U.S.. Somewhere around 1998 an 8th grade class started a paper clip project. This meant that they heard about Hitler and the Holocaust and wanted to honor the Jewish people that died. So then they ended up collecting over 20 million paper clips. Then the 8th graders thought and then made a funeral and brought 11 million paper clips for every soul that was lost in the Holocaust. I think the Holocaust is scary.I think this because how they starved the people and let them die.I also think it's kind of crazy how Hitler let all the blue-eyed blonde haired people live and not the others!Making a perfect race sounds carzy and unfair.Letting people starve and having them weigh 60-70 pounds sounds painful because they didn't get to eat much!

I think what I have learned is pretty crazy!He killed 11,000 people just to create a perfect race.6,000 of those people were jews.The other 5,000 people were other races.Hitler was scary looking.Most of the people who died were 60-70 pounds!He starved many of them and they were all killed anyway.They were killed because of diseases,starvation,and tests that went wrong.Hitler was doing and trying tests on people so he could find a way to cure people with diseases in his "perfect" race.

Some people believe the Holocaust never happened. There are survivors with memories and the concentration camp tattoos for proof. The Nazis experimented on prisoners and their families. Most prisoners were starved or tortured to death. Hitler tried to make his own master race by killing others. He hated other races, mostly Jewish people. Hitler wanted a race of blue eyed and blond haired people. Its a good thing America stopped him.

What I learned so far is that 6 million people have died.The reason they died is because they weren't blond haired and blue eyed.If they weren't blond haired blue eyes they would get beat till they died.Also the men onley weighed 50 or 60 pounds.The babies would even get killed too.they would kill the pregnet women to see how long the baby inside them would live.Its truly sad to hear what has happend so long ago.

The Holocaust was a gruesome and terrible time for many people when Adolf Hitler first made his appearence. Adolf Hitler was a Anti-Semite and like most Anti-Semites would do if they gained power is try to eliminate the Jews and thier Religon. A Anti-Semite is someone who despises the Jews and their Religon greatly. After Adolf Hitler died there began to be a influnce from him. For example the KKK or Klu Klux Klan was like Adolf Hitler because they had a hatred for black people like Hitler but was actually started by a bunch of Confederate Soilders. In fact the name was created by Richard R. Reed. But back to facts about The Holocaust. There was a terrible creation from The Holocaust called a Concentration camp created by Heinrich Himmler. A Concentration Camp is a place where people are detained or Confined. The people who ran these camps were called Commandats and after the war many of the were Executed or arrested by the Allies. But the most terrible Concentration Camp created was in Auschwitz. One place to learn more about Auschwitz go to google and look up about it. In Concetration Camps there were kids who were killed for disabilitys like being handicapped even for kids who were just Gypsy. I look up on the Internet and so far have found evidence that Hitler Was not Jewish with 2 supporting Sigtes with one with other sites. Hitler was a cruel man and wished to have a perfect race. To create this perfect race he had to eliminate the people that didn’t meet his standards. But he didn’t meet his own standards. In this perfect race you would have to have blond hair blue eyes and had to be a certain height. You couldn’t have glasses couldn’t be black Asian Mexican or Jewish. If you were on of these thing you would be put in a camp where the worked and beat people to death. As may of 6,000,000 Jews where killed and 5,000,000 others. This was a total amount of 11,000,000. Because of this Americans and Russians invaded Germany. This was part of world war 2.

the holocaust is mostly about when Hitler when bonkers and sent all of the Jewish people to a concentration camps. It was all because of the miss treated way he was when Hitler was little. When he finally began getting his art career started. Hitler had finally gotten an appointment with an talent scout to get his art career off the ground. The talent scout rejected his work. And the talent scout was Jewish so i believe that had a big impact to Hitlers life. I think that the hole thing was started because he wanted to be perfect but he couldn't. So he decided to reflect him wanting to be perfect to Germany. Well that is just my theory.

Hitler had killed 6 milion Jews. All together he killed 11 million people. I dont know why people would follow him. I think they figured out how wrong it was and turned against him. I cant wait to learn more about the Holocaust.

I know about Hitler and the Holocaust is that Hitler held concentration camps; he ruined lives of millions, and had racism in him. Hitler experimented on people, and every dead body there was, he through them out into a pile of other dead bodies. Hitler only likes people with Blonde hair, blue eyes, and whole white or something like that. Everybody else was killed. There were 60 pound men who showed rib and bones. In a book I read, it showed young Hitler pitching hay with a group of other boys. I also noticed he was wearing a Nazi symbol on his upper left arm. Some experiments Hitler did are murdering pregnant women, putting people in room filled with gas, just murdering Jews if they don’t like them, etc. Over 6 million Jews and 5 million others were killed. That about the total of 1,100,000 people killed.

Sorry Mrs.Gamez,I didn't relize that we had to have 8 sentences.Hitler is confuzing because he blamed everything that went wrong in his life on the Jews.Hitler recieved horrible grades in school.A Jew professor,rejected Hitler to going to the school that the professor worked at.Hitlers mother had cancer and was being treated with medications.Apperiantly,the doctor treating his mother,was Jewish.Personally,I feel bad for Hitler becaused he was troubled in life.

The holocaust was a horrible event in time.Adolf Hitler lead his Nazis to kill jews and anyone who didnt fit his "Perfect Race'.Hitler tested live jews by making his perfect race better.Everyone he took were not fed were not cared for if they didnt die from testing they would throw the ones that starved to death in a hole.Not only jews were killed people that didnt have blonde hair and blue eyes were killed and used for testing.They would weight around 90 pounds if they were full grown men.Hitler was grousum, test that would slaughter people and server them to use for tests he only did this to jews because they were in his life that had his bumps which he was completely over-reacting.Hopefuly this will never happen again because almost 9 million people died because of the Holocaust.

The holocaust was a very sad and depressing thing. Over 6 million jewish people were killed. Adolf Hitler was a very raciest,discriminating profiler. I don't understand why he had standards that he did not match up to. His criterias were that you have to have blonde hair and blue eyes. Adolf Hitler had Brown hair so he already does not mach up to his requirements. many people think that Adolf Hitler was a jewish man but unless they have proof that is still a mystery.

When they took showers instead of water it was acid. They were barely fed. So many of them starved.When they were killed they were thrown into a very big hole on top of other dead bodies.

what i have so far about the holocaust is that hilter blamed all of his peronal reason and issues on jewish people.also i have learned that hilter wanted to make a different race which is a blond hair person with blue eyes.another thing i have learn is that hilter had a wife and a dog.he killed his dog first and then killed his wife because hilter knew that he was done when the americans came to germany.also he did experiments on people and see how long on experiment will take for the human to die.this is what i have learned so far about the holocaust.but also i have learned that hilter sometimes didnt feed his slaves a lot.

In my class we are learning about Hitler and the Holocaust. So far I know that Hitler was looking for the perfect race. Hitler was looking for men with blonde hair and blue eyes. Hitler was a angry man and hated Jews. Hitler had killed 6 milion Jews. All together he killed 11 million people. I dont know why people would follow him. I think they figured out how wrong it was and turned against him. I cant wait to learn more about the Holocaust.

I thought of a couple things when this blog came up. I first thought of Hitler thought of Hitler. At first I thinking of how he was once a Jewish person. The houlocost was said that Hitler wanted to make the perfect race. One thing is that if you are colored, you would have been killed. If you have brown eyes, you would be killed. Finally, if you didnt have blonde hair and no race but totally white, you would be killed. Just to make sure u were totally white, the nazis would go throgh your entire family line. Suprisingly, Hitler didnt meet up to his own standards.

What I learned so far about Hitler and the Holocaust is that this all happened mostly during World War II. All the Jews were taken to concentration camps. They were later killed from being forced into gas chambers and other cruel experiments. Dachau, Auschwitz, and Bergen Belsen were some of the concentration camps. Many say Hitler was a Jew himself, but that can’t be fully proven yet. Hitler finally died by committing suicide. Anne Frank was one girl who wrote a book about herself hiding from Hitler. She then was caught, ended up in a concentration camp, and died. Hitler was a vial man to most Jews. They feared him, including when they were trying to hide the fact that they were Jews. Hitler had a standard for people which was having blond hair and blue eyes. Yet he didn’t meet his own standard. Hitler was a cruel man to the Jews.

But in hitlers opinion everything was their fault.At the time Germany was in debt well he decided to blame jews due to personal reasons.Well he also constructed expirements.He was trying to bring people back from the dead.

Hitler was a very bad person. He hated the Jews. One reason is because he taught that the Jews were richer than him. Another reason is because his mom was in the hospital and the doctor was a Jew. Hitler's mom died and he blamed the doctor. That is why he hates Jews. So he became ruler and forced all of the Jews into concentration camps. He wanted the perfect race so any people who had glasses, any color eyes but blue, any color hair but blonde, any race but white, or had any disease would be killed along with the Jews. Hitler was very rude in the time Germany was attacked by himself.

The Holocaust was a scary time for all races in Germany through the late 1938s and 1945s. 6 million Jews were killed and 5 million others were also killed. Jewish people tried to hide from the Germans, but it was almost impossible because Adolf Hitler ran a dictatorship govermant. He wanted to "genocide" against other ethnic groups. Hitler's mission was to get rid of or kill all people that didn't fit his criteria. Hitler's was quoted "if you dont have blonde hair blue eyes, different race other than white, or you had a disease in your family" you were to be sent to concentration camps. Most of the people who were sent were tortured until death with only a few lucky survivors. I beileve the Holocaust was the worst preventable incident in our world history

I think that the holocaust was wrong. I don't like the fact that killed 11 million people! Hitler thought that everything was Jews fault. He needed to lighten up some and realize that NOTHING was the Jews did or said would hurt him! Anne Frank hid in an attic for 3 years so she would not get caught. Then one day she got caught. Holocaust means great destruction. That's all I know and what I think of the holocaust. It was very sad. P.S. I went to the Museum in Washington D.C., and I started crying because of what I saw. There was a bench that said "Jews Only" and that just made me so upset.

Only days away from his "rise of glory" so called. He suffered from lung infection and droped out of school when only 16. Hitler saposably posiened his wife and childeren because, he was sceared of his animes. I do NOT belive it because there are also rumers that they killed each other i belive that because they were all crazy. When he was yunger he was acutally crazy. I don't feel that it was right, what Hitler did. There was no valid reason to kill 11 million people. The Holocaust and Hitler were both terrible and sickening. When I think about those who suffered, it makes me very sad. I think it is obvious that Hitler had something against the Jews. I'm looking forward to learning more about Hitler and the Holocaust. Out of the 11 million killed, over 5,000 were Jehovah's Witnesses. Even children were persecuted by Hitler's orders.

Well,from what i learned, Hitler is a ver--y sick monster.Especially since he was responcible for over 11million deaths! 6 Million Jews and 5 million others. just thinking how almost everyone in germany needed to hide to survive from the orders of their own president. I also think that it is weird that the German soldiers even obeyed to hitlers orders. The soldiers burned and hung people, mostimes even worse, what kind of people would do that.

He did tests on people but no one knows why. He put people in ice to see how fast people’s body tempter would change. Hitler wanted the perfect race of blond hair, no glasses, and blue eyes. Hitler thought Jews messed up his hole life, because the doctor was a Jew when his mother was in the hospital. Hitler had a Jewish teacher and his grads where really bad. Clearly, that’s all that I learned so far about the holocaust.

Some of Hitler's standers were blue eyes, blond hair, and many other thing that you couldn't even control. The funny thing is that Hitler didn't even meet his own standards. Many people hid from Hitler in other people's houses and stuff like that. Wow, that is a lot of people killed. I cannot believe that someone can be so heartless. I have learned very many things. It just stuns me that Hitler would kill 6 million jews and 5 million others. Hitler ran an army whom was called the nazi. He believed that there should be a perfect race(blue eyes, blond, and pure white) Anybody who had these charactoristics but for example, had health problems would be killed. Many jews were taken to consontration camps. There they wern't fed so men were about 75 pounds. some were experemented on with the wemen on their babies and sometimes when the babies were born the mothers were killed. In the end Hitler's "perfect race" was defeated and then he killed himself.

The moms that were pregnet got killed just for them to see how long the babies inside them would live. And all this stuff happened beacause the Hitler wanted the perfect race. Also he killed people with things such as dark skin,glasses and some other races. Those are the things I learned so far about the holocaust.

I never really knew much about the Holocaust until third quarter, but now I know that the Holocaust was a brutal time when out of the eleven million people that were killed, six million of them were Jews. Hitler killed everyone who in his eyes weren’t “perfect.” Hitler held concentration camps. He also experimented on many people. One way he hilled people was by starving them. I saw a picture of grown men who weighed about fifty to sixty pounds. That’s the weight of an average 5th grader! Hitler tried to create what he thought was a “perfect” world.

People when they passed away or got killed they were thrown in a big hole piled on top of each other, I think Hitler was a crazy and mean man who lost his mind. Hitler would kill people that weared glasses, was a different colored skin, different color of hair. If you wore glasses than Hitler would kill you because if you can’t see than how are you good for Hitler. This is what I have learned so far.

I think what I learn about the holocaust is that Hitler was stupid for killing all those inanest peoples life’s. Hitler was born on April 20, 1889 AND he was born in a small village in Austrian. Hitler’s men where the people that said that they can help in sateen the world up. Hitler was a bright student but he wasn’t very was about doing the right things at the right time! Hitler and his men tock people out of their homes and brought then to their concentration camp where they would experiment on people to see what affects it has. Hitler only like people with blond hair, blue eyes and glasses. Once Hitler was released from prison Hitler decided to seize power constitutionally rather than by force of arms. Hitler spoke to scores of mass audiences. The Nazis won their primarily from the middle class. Hitler created an army so if anyone would try to stop him he would send out his guys. When Hitler heard about the usa army coming to stop him he killed his wife, dog,and then he killed himself. When the usa army got there people were happy to get out of there but 6 million others died because of hitters stupid idea.

The only people who could stay is if you were a white person with blonde hair and blue eyes. If you had any learning disablilites or wore glasses of some sort you werent aloud either. Hitler sent these people to concetration camps and made, made up videos to act like they were having fun while they reallly werent. Hitler forced them into gas chambers to die. Question:"Hitler did you know that you dont meet your own standards because if people you wanted had to be white with blonde hair blue eyes then why did you have brown hair and brown eyes?" I think that the Holocaust was a waste of Hitler's life, he killed over 6 million Jews and others. Adolf Hitler was rumored and told to be a Jewish man if he was i think honestly he is a hippercrit. He would probably be Jewish but he hates them though. Hitler was the leader of the deplomatic soilders called the Nazis. The Nazis were the real people who killed the Jews, Hitler was a wussy in my opinion. Hitler killed himself when he knew that the US Army was coming for him in Germany. He killed his wife with him in a bunker. The Nazi occupation was defeated in the 1940s when the Holocaust was in progress. He threw Jews into concentration camps, where they grew skinny about sixty pounds when they are grown men.

But Hitler was the most racist against jewish people. He killed about 6 million jews and thats when they get sent to the Holocaust. Hitler was so crazy he did tests on them and tons would get blown up. The army for Hitler would wear these paperclips to be recognized. Well i dont know much about hittler and the holocast, but i did learn it in class.Did you know that when hittler was a kid he hated jews just because they were richer than him and he had to work to pay off.Also that his mother got very sick and surpisingly a jew was a doctor tring to make her feel better.But the doctor didnt really help his motherand she died.So thats an other reason he hated jews.When hittler got older he decided i dont want jews no more i want people with perfectly blue eyes and has to be white and they have to have whole white on their family profile and heritage.Soon hittlers army was growing and growing and growing by the 80's by the 90's so thats what i think.What i know about hitler is that he is a very rude.Also what i know is that when hittler took control he had followers.Also did you know thoses followers and him killed over 6 million people.It will show on photos and other things that hittler was a wise man.He made it look like jews were having fun at that boot camp.The americans didnt see what was happening until they wanted to see for them selves.The jews were killed and were put in large holes that had them keep digging for all of them to fit.Also hitter made them sleep in bunks that were crowded and it was wood!Soild wood!It was quite werid to see all of that.Also did you know that hittler soon killed his family and wife even himself!i think personly thats a little crazy but it did happen.When i was learning i didnt know that hittler killed himself i thought his soilders did.

What I learned about the Holocaust and Hitler was that it was uncalled for and that Hitler was a mad man to sentence the death of about 6 million Jews in which many Jews were take to concentration-camps were they would be shot or put in gas cambers. with the holocaust ending many concentration-camps were abandoned with many Jews left to die. What I learned about Hitler is that he was a very insane man. Blaming everything that happened to him on the jews. Coinsedently his mom had cancer and his mom's doctor was jewish and she died. It was also a coinsidence that he was an artist, applied in an art school and he wasn't accepted into the school and his teacher was also jewish. His climb to power was very awkward because he had very bad grades and was not a very good student. Though for killing 5 million people for the perfect race he was very dorky looking himself. He had glasses and when i first saw what he looked like i laughed at the sight because he was kinda chubby his mustache was ridiculous and he had other deformallity's. So if he had built the perfect race ( which will never happen because god not allow it) which he didn't I sometimes think they would have turned on him because he wasn't all that perfect.

Great Job posting for week 1!

A couple of things:

1. A few comments stated that Hitler was Jewish. Remember that in order to make that claim you have to prove, with triangulated (3 sources) of data, that this was true. A prize will be given to the first person who can provide solid, reliable evidence proving one or the other! Good Luck!

2. Hitler did not personally kill eleven million people (that would be impossible), but he was directly responsible for the actions that caused those deaths.

3. Most of your posts met the eight sentence requirement, but a few didn't. Remember you can go back and repost if you found that you didn't meet the requirements the first time. Also, be mindful of your grammar, punctuation and sentence structure. You will be counted off for errors. Make sure to go back and read aloud the post you wrote before you submit it, this will help you to hear errors in your writing.

I learned a lot reading about the Holocaust. Hitler wanted to create the perfect race. He thought people with blonde hair and blue eyes were perfect. He did mean things like experiments on twins and other cruel things to make them into what he thought was perfect. Hitler took the Jewish people away and put them in concentration camps. He tortured and killed anyone that he wanted. He tore apart families and changed history. He was a very evil man.

I think that the holocost is something that is very bad and should not have been done. I Have learned that the reason Hitler did what he did was because there were alot of bad things that happened to him. When he wanted to be an artist it was a Jewish man that told him "no". When his mom died the doctor that took care of her was also Jewish. I learned there were a lot of people that died. I don't think that it made any sense for Hitler to kill all those people. I learned that there was a lady named Ann Franklin that hid from the Nazis. Ann Franklin wrote a journal that was later published into a book. I also learned that Hitler and his army used the Jewish people to perform medical testing.
